Maggie José is a Spanish-Filipino artist based in Hamburg, Germany. She has been a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene in Asia since her first exhibition in Beijing in 2013. She has pieces in prestigious private collections in Hong Kong, Macau, Canada and Germany. The artist specializes in hyper-realistic oil paintings executed with needle-like precision. She graduated in 2009 from the College of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila.
